■ Day tour description:

- Meet the tour guide at your hotel inside Cairo or Giza for pick-up. Start the trip to Islamic Cairo. Enjoy a day tour brings you closer to the Christian and the Muslim communities and their history in Egypt.     

- Visit Ibn Tulun Mosque, belongs to Ahmed Ibn Tulun the ruler of Egypt between the years 868 and 905 AD. Ibn Tulun managed to establish a separate Muslim dynasty in Egypt and managed to sit himself an independent ruler for Egypt away from the Muslim authority of that time. He also built a new Capital (Al-kataie) and our big mosque that hold his name, the biggest old mosque in Egypt keeps its original dimensions.

- Visit Sultan Hassan and El-Refae Mosques, both found facing each other. Sultan Hassan Mosque is a gigantic Mosque and a Madrassa (school) at the same time, built at the 15th Century AD and belongs to the Mamluke Muslim dynasty who ruled Egypt from the 13th To the 15th Centuries. El-Refae Mosque of the 19th century, is as big as Sultan Hassan Mosque, built by the last royal family ruled Egypt the 19th-20th centuries.

- Visit Coptic Cairo Churches, the hanging Church built above a 1st century Roman tower, the Church of st. Serguies where the holy family stayed insid a cave for three months, and the Church of st. Barbara. All the Churches are of the 4th and 5th centuries 

- Visit Al-Muizz street, The foundation of this street returns back to the Fatimid Muslim dynasty in 969, the street was the center of the newly established city Cairo, holding the name of Al-Muizz the forth ruler of the Fatimid dynasty who built the city. The street was the main road of the city where the commercials was doing their best to stay inside it.

- AT the end of the day tour, we drive back to your hotel for drop-off.
