■ Day tour description:

- Meet the tour guide at your hotel for pick-up. Start the trip to Fayoum Oasis (90 KM ~ 75 minutes) from Cairo. Enjoy a day tour away from Cairo and watch the Egyptian countryside, the desert, the lakes and the agriculture land, all in one place mixed together, also visit the remained monuments of old fayoum city. 

- Visit Fayoum Oasis, it is one of six oases found in the Egyptian western desert and the nearest Oasis to Cairo. Fayoum was the ancient Egyptians main valley  before they move ot the Nile River valley. Fayoum is full of very beautiful  natural views as well as old cities ruins.

- Visit Karanis City and Museum, Karanis City is an old city for the ancient Egyptians during the Grec time 300 BC. Still exist the remains of the houses and the old temple of the local God. Museum of Karanis is a perfect small Museum, where we can see the pieces of monuments found inside fayoum and Karanis, such as the ancient Egyptians funerail collection and the Gods statues. 

- Visit Qarun lake, it is a natural lake part of Fayoum ancient valley, used today for fishing. The North of the lake is desert land while the south of it is an agriculture fertilized land.

- Visit Wadi El-Rayan lake, it is a man made lake found at the lowest desert level in Fayoum Oasis. People do fishing at wadi El-Rayan. Watch the only water falls exist in Egypt.

- Lunch in fayoum, enjoy an Egyptian countryside food at the restaurant while  you are surrounded by the agriculture land. 

- AT the end of the day tour, we drive back to your hotel for drop-off.
